Sprouted buckwheat, oats and sunflower seeds form an excellent basis for raw granola. These seeeds are very easy to sprout. In this video Kevin and Anne Marie Gianni show you exactly how to do it.
Now is the time of year to sprout. In Chinese medicine spring is the time to eat a lot of sprouts, because the upward and growing forces of nature are the predominant energies right now. My house and garden are full of sprouts, that I grow with my kids. The kids love to water them and see them grow by the hour.
We add sprouts to all our dishes. With all the edible young weeds outside and our own sprouts we hardly need to buy any greens. Start experimenting. It's great fun!
