Hira Ratan Manek (HRM) teaches sun gazing, how we can live on just the energy of sunlight and water. He has eaten solid food just five to seven times in the last 10 years. He once fasted under 24-hour medical supervision for more than 200 consecutive days.
Sun gazing is an ancient practice found in all cultures. It activates the dormant human brain. The infinite resources within us get activated. Save sunlight reaches the brain through the eyes and the brain's effectiveness is raised. The practitioner cures all his problems and gets total health for mind, body and spirit.
If you want to start sun gazing, study it carefully. If the sunlight is too bright you might damage your eyes. The save hours are the first hour after sunrise en the last hour before sunset.
Watch the website www.SolarHealing.com for more information on sun gazing.

Deepak Chopra: Spiritual Exaltation Heals the Body
Deepak Chopra describes the effect of a deep spiritual experience.
According to the ancient wisdom traditions of India, when you get in touch with your spirit, in Western terms when you get a peak experience, you experience:
- love, you feel connected to everything, you feel the intoxication of love
- knowingness/intuition/insight/creativity, knowing what your need to know
- happiness, bliss
In physical terms, this means that your body produces:
- serotonin and dopamine, the happy hormones
- oxytocin, the pleasure hormone
- opiates, which provide a feeling of intoxication (high) and help regulate the immune system
This explains, why spiritual practices are so important for a good health.

Gratitude Meditation with Deepak Chopra
Experiencing gratitude is one of the most effective ways of getting in touch with your soul. You will feel connected to everything in the universe. Your ego goes out of the way.
Meditation with Deepak Chopra:
Close your eyes, bring your energy to your heart and think of everything, you could be grateful for. Sit there quietly. Come up with as many things, you can think of, to be grateful for. Experience the warmth, the love, the compassion, the understanding, the creativity and the sense of connection, that gratitude brings into your heart.
Slowly come back to the present and open your eyes.
This meditation makes me think of Masaru Emoto and “Messages from Water”. Words and emotions have a huge influence on the structure of frozen water molecules. The most beautiful molecules being created by the words love and gratitude, the word gratitude having twice as much impact as the word love.
If water already reacts so strongly to gratitude, guess what is does for us. We are mainly water.
Experiencing more love and gratitude can change this world.
I am grateful, among others, to have this blog to express myself and to have you, as a reader ;-)

Make This Day Exciting in Less than 30 Seconds!
Crazy Secret Smashes Boredom & Ignites Passion In 30 Seconds…
By Roger Haeske
This method is so powerful it's almost on the verge of being supernatural in nature. This technique takes advantage of something that is already "hard-wired" into the brain of every human on the planet. It's a virtually irresistible way to ignite passion and excitement.
I'm sure you've heard of this before, but you might not have realized its true power. This simple technique will make any day exciting in less than 30-seconds. All you have to do is to remember to use it. And it's so easy any five year old could do it.
But there's something even more powerful behind this simple "mind-shift." If you use this on a daily basis, you start building an incredible track record of success. This builds your self-confidence and belief in yourself like nothing else.
Soon you'll be going from one success to another and you'll wonder why things where so hard for you before.
I'm actually using this magical method right now to write this very article with fire and passion. In fact, it just started with the simple daily goal to write a quick and motivating article.
So, what is the secret?
I just told you the secret. But could you recognize it? I doubt it. I just revealed it. At least partially.
Maybe it seems incredibly mundane and something you already know about. But in actuality this has the power to revolutionize your life instantly. And it will only revolutionize your life when you understand and feel for yourself the motivation and fire it creates in you.
Did you figure it out yet?
I know you probably hate me for doing this. Ok, I'll tell you the secret and spell it out for you.
Set An Inspiring Daily Goal
Goal setting, we've all heard of it and like most people it usually sounds so boring. But this is different and it's not as hard. Just set a small goal for yourself that you want to achieve. Make it a bit challenging but nothing you couldn't achieve if you put your mind to it.
And do it daily. Set the goal first thing in the morning and try to achieve it to start your day if at all possible.
For instance you can set a goal to exercise for 5 minutes doing Lightning Aerobics. Yes I know that sounds like a small goal to some people. But imagine a person who's never really liked exercising. Or someone who's really fat and out of shape.
That five minute exercise goal could be challenging but also doable in his mind. The next day you can increase the goal to exercise for 6 minutes. Or you can set a goal to do 50 reps of the Lightning Speed Exercise for the day or just for the morning hours.
If you wish you can set a goal to do 100 push-ups for the day. Of course, the goal depends on your current level of fitness. It has to be a bit challenging. But if you haven't been doing any push-ups, then doing 25 for the day might make you fee like a million bucks.
How about having a 100% raw food breakfast today. It's not so difficult to accomplish and it gets you excited about the day. You can build off of that success with a new goal for the next day in regards to eating raw.
The key to the power behind this is that we humans get excited about achieving goals. And it gets even more exciting when you take small and consistent actions toward your goals.
Maybe your goal is to write a short post to your raw food blog. This month I've had a goal to post daily to my blog. I haven't quite made it, there's been a day or two I missed. But even with a minor failure, I've had many more successful days.
Each day builds extra confidence. Even today I was going to give up my goal of writing. I just wanted to rest for once. But I said screw it and reset the goal. And man did that get me excited.
So set a daily exciting goal. And watch how your level of enjoyment and enthusiasm for life takes a jump through the roof. How about setting an income goal? Today I'm going to earn $10 or $100 or $1,000.
If you're already earning $200 a day, then obviously you don't want to set a goal of $100 a day. Just set something that's a bit challenging and that you think you can achieve. Even if you don’t immediately achieve your goal, the process of setting the goal and asking yourself how to achieve it will unleash incredible power and magical ideas inside of you.
It automatically engages "The Law of Attraction."
You only get the answers if you ask the question. In order to answer the questions, you need to first set the goal.
If you had a boring and dull day, it's because you had no exciting goal for the day. Set an inspiring daily goal and never be bored again. And be creative, whenever you're bored just find a way to set a goal and see what happens. You can have goals even for the most mundane tasks like washing the dishes.

Gabriel Cousens on Dairy; Do You Need Milk Products?
Do you wonder, whether you need milk products? Do you think, that by drinking milk, you don't harm animals? Watch this video by Gabriel Cousens.
I couldn't get it on the blog, so click the link, if you are interested. It's a great video with a lot of information.
Perspectives on Dairy
The focus of this article is to clear some of the confusion about the purity, harmlessness, and safety of consuming dairy products. This includes organic and raw un-pasteurized dairy. Dairy products include milk, cheese, cream, butter, yogurt, and whey from lactating animals. Stopping dairy intake is not just about our personal health, but is also associated with the prevention of cruelty to cows and the protection of the ecology & energy of the planet. In this context, going vegan is a call to put our own self-serving or narcissistic needs aside and move toward elevating planetary healing. We can do this by choosing a diet that serves both the healing of the planet and ourselves.

Jasmuheen on New Age Raw Food Kids
This video is great. Jasmuheen, who lives on prana and not on real foods, raises the question what is nutrition really is. Is there a source of nourishment that people can tap into, that will eliminate all their hungers; their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual hunger?
And what about the kids being born at this moment. It seems that a new generation is being born, of kids that come to earth to bring love. They don’t need heavy diets, they prefer to have just fruits. Parents and grandparents from all over the world are reporting this. These kids live in a theta brain frequency most of the time, a meditative state, in which you don't need heavy foods.
There is a difference between living on prana and anorexia. Anorexia is a lack of self love or some other or health issue. It’s not a state of perfect health. To live purely on prana, you have to be very healthy on all levels; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
There are different sources of nourishment; physical food and prana. What doctors say about food is true for people living in beta frequency brainwaves. In this frequency you need real food, otherwise you will die. Once you start meditating and reach alpha and theta frequencies, your physiology changes. Once your brainwaves and lifestyle change into a more or less permanent theta frequency, the physiology of your body starts to operate in a different way.
I'd be interested in your comments. Let me know, if you are experiencing similar things. Do you have kids of this new loving and fruit-eating generation in your environment?

How to Start a Raw Food Diet
Over the past few days, I got many questions on how to start a raw food diet. Many people hear about raw food, want to give it a try, but don’t know where to start or what to do.
I get questions like: “Do you eat just salads”. I’m hungry all the time, what can I do?
To make things clear, I’ll explain some things first.
A raw food diet is a diet, consisting of food, not heated above 115 degrees Fahrenheit. And there are many ways of preparation, except for cooking, that you can do under this temperature. Take a look at the recipes on the blog and you will get an idea.
The raw food diet consists of natural organic fresh plant based food. Many people’s first reaction is “Salads!”, but there are many more things you can eat raw. Think about fruits, nuts, seeds, seaweeds, beans, grains, and not to forget superfoods. Superfoods are also plant based natural foods, the ones with a high nutrient density. Usually they have a long history as a natural medicine or as a longevity food. Examples are: raw cacao, maca, goji berries, spirulina, chlorella, bee pollen, noni, ginger, garlic and ginseng.
If you start with raw food, take your time. Your body is used to certain foods and it causes a lot of stress to change everything overnight. Yes, if you have a strong will power or if you are very sick, you can change right away. In most cases I don’t recommend this. Your body starts to detox fast, which makes it more difficult. By taking your time, the detoxing happens more naturally overtime.
By taking your time, you raw food adventure will turn into a big success.
Seven Steps to Raw Food Success:
1 Drink enough good quality water in between meals.
2 Add a lot of fruits to your diet, best before or as a breakfast and in between meals.
3 Add a salad to your lunch and dinner, best at the beginning. Eat normal afterwards. The food you chose to eat after your salad will change by itself overtime, don’t worry,
4 Buy some superfoods and start to experiment. Take one superfood smoothie a day (the recipe is on the blog). This is a great way, to add extra nutrients to your diet.
5 Stop eating sugar. Take fruits combined with nuts instead. By taking them together, the sugar of the fruits is more slowly absorbed by your body.
6 Stop to eat packaged, canned and fast food with artificial and chemical colorings, flavorings, preservatives and bad quality fats.
7 Keep studying diet. Buy good books or look for good information on the internet. Continuous learning will make it much easier overtime.
I don’t add addictions like coffee, smoking, alcohol and drugs to this list. Of course they need to be addressed, to get really healthy. Starting to eat raw food will also help to quit these additions. I will write another article about this later.
You can also use the approach mentioned, if you want to lose weight. Focus on superfoods, fresh vegetables, fruits, seaweeds and some nuts and seeds. I put superfoods in the first place here on purpose. Many people have cravings, because of deficiencies. By adding superfoods, you solve these deficiencies naturally overtime. This way staying on your raw food diet becomes much easier and great fun.
Once you are getting used to your new diet, don’t forget to add soaked nuts and seeds. They are a very important source of essential fatty acids and energy.
To Your Raw Food Success!

Quotes & Thoughts from Deepak Chopra
Deepak Chopra is one of the teachers, I studied with. He teaches Ayurveda, modern western medicine and spirituality. Here are some great quotes & thoughts from Deepak Chopra concerning diet and health.
Most people think that aging is irreversible. We know that there are mechanisms even in the human machinery that allow for the reversal of aging, through correction of diet, through antioxidants, through removal of toxins from the body, through exercise, through yoga and breathing techniques, and through meditation.
You and I are essentially infinite choice-makers. In every moment of our existence, we are in that field of all possibilities where we have access to an infinity of choices.
The way you think, the way you behave, the way you eat, can influence your life by 30 to 50 years.
The possibility of stepping into a higher plane is quite real for everyone. It requires no force or effort or sacrifice. It involves little more than changing our ideas about what is normal.
Silence is the great teacher, and to learn its lessons you must pay attention to it. There is no substitute for the creative inspiration, knowledge, and stability that come from knowing how to contact your core of inner silence.
In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you.

Quit Smoking with Acupuncture
Acupuncture can be of great help, if you want to quit smoking. Acupuncture helps to trigger the body to release natural endorphin, which can decrease cravings of nicotine and decrease withdrawal symptoms, like irritability, anxiety and insomnia. It has a success rate of about 80%. Usually about 4 sessions is enough. For each person a different emotion can be involved, as a reason to smoke. Every emotion is connected to different organ and meridian. Because of this, the treatment is different for each person.

Most Astonishing Health Disaster of the 20th Century
Just watch and think of all your friends and relatives. I think of my father who died last September at the age of 86 after having had many useless and cruel cancer operations. He finally died from (an overdose of) morphine given by a physician, who didn't even know him.
Take responsibility for your own (and your family's) health. It's your everyday lifestyle that counts. Eat healthy, exercise, avoid stress and do what you love. Don’t expect doctors and medicines to save you, once you get into trouble. Yes, sometimes they can help you, but not always ….. Watch the video.

Inspiration from the Kabbalah
I just received a great raw apple ;-) quote from the Kabbalah:
A worm inside an apple has a limited view of the world. When it works its way out, it discovers a landscape far beyond what it imagined.
This is how we live. We have limited perspectives, and we don’t see what we’re missing. We only see what we are — we don’t see what we can become.
Today, worm your way outside your apple. What do you want to become next week, next month, next year? Where can you grow more, do more, be more? Dream big and you will be big.
By Jehuda Berg from the Kabbalah Centre International.
Note from Annet: It would be even more interesting, if this worm would be a caterpillar on it's way to become a butterfly.

David Wolfe: Raw Food Diet for Success
David Wolfe explains how your personal mission and values will help guide you to success in diet, health, and life.
Being on your mission creates vibrant health. You need the right nutrition to support you on your mission. This way you can never be sick again, work as much as you want, have an infinite amount of energy and inspire always.
What is your mission? That what feels good. Your mission is what you love to do more than anything, even if you don't get paid for it. If you do what feels good, you are guided all the way to paradise. If you do what feels bad, you will be guided to hell. That what it is all about.
Line up your food with your destiny. What you put in your mouth is sacred. It's the basis of your thinking. Attention goes, where energy flows. If you change your food, you will change your thinking and level of consciousness. Your values will change. All you have to know is your destination.
Come out of dogmatism as far as food is concerned. Your food is sacred. Get rid of guild, fear, shame. Laughter heals, loves heals, food filled with light heals, food that is fun to eat heals.
This is what Raw Food Success is all about!

Alkaline Foods and Positive Thoughts
Keeping your body alkaline is the key to good health. You can do this by eating lots of green leafy vegetables, non-sweet fruits, specific herbs and superfoods, sea vegetables and drinking enough water. This lifestyle is promoted in the raw food diet. Positive thoughts are also a very important factor.
Avoid as much as possible: all animal food and dairy, sugar, coffee, alcohol, smoking, highly processed foods and chemical additives, which create an acid condition in the body. This acidity is the basis of all modern diseases. Negative thinking also contributes highly to an acid condition.
Become aware of your thoughts and if necessary, change them. It is possible and it will benefit your health greatly.
