Reishi Mushroom - Ganoderma Lucidum - Ling Zhi

The Reishi mushroom has been used in Chinese medicine since hundreds of years to boost the immune system, support cardiovascular health and reduce the risks of cancer. It was recommended for the stomach and intestines, for nutritional deficiencies, and to reduce blood sugar levels.

The Reishi mushroom is also known for its powerful spirit-liberating properties. It is depicted in ancient scroll paintings as a 'bridge between Earth and Heaven'. Reishi, and other 'advanced fungals' are thought to be extra-terrestrial. That is, they are thought by mycologists to have originated in other solar systems.

Last weekend my eldest son Bram and I were at the Raw Spirit Festival in Sedona, Arizona. We had the best time ever, meeting fantastic people, listening to great music and inspirational talks, tasting delicious food and enjoying the beautiful area of Sedona. I wish the whole world was like this, happy faces everywhere.

I filmed and filmed and have over 12 hours of film.

This Saturday, I went to the Chocolate Club in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with my camera. And ... had a great evening.

The Chocolate Club is an intitiative of Mastercare, the Netherlands.
Every first saturday of the month, you can enjoy a delicious 3-course raw food dinner,
prepared with love.

Rawfood chef Jeramaya van Sterren serves his main course, consisting of, amongst others, courgette filled with the most delicious raw mushroom-nut pâté.

After enjoying your raw food dinner, you can choose whether to go to an energetic and fun dance party, with DJ and live show, or to stay in the café and relax.
In the café you can get natural superfood drinks, like alchemic raw chocolate, E3 live, goji juice, fresh wheatgrass juice, kombucha champagne or young Thai coconuts.
